The client who fatally shot a staff member at Shively Animal Clinic & Hospital on Sunday night has been named as Trent “TJ” Taylor of Pikeville, Kentucky.
When a lady in Louisville shot and killed Taylor, 21, who was working at the clinic, she was objecting to her having to pay for veterinary services.
Taylor was working at the clinic at 2401 Dixie Highway in Louisville when a female client showed up to pick up her dog at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to many posts on social media. The woman eventually opened fire on Taylor while refusing to pay for the services.

The unnamed suspect then took off from the scene while still carying the animal.
After being taken to a local hospital, Taylor was later declared dead from gunshot wounds.
